Furniture is an indispensable product for every family. At present, the types and styles of furniture on the market are very rich. At the same time, the decoration market is a mixture of fish and dragons, and inferior furniture with poor quality, rough production, and serious defects are often mixed in. Many consumers are difficult to distinguish fake and inferior, and it is easy to buy inferior furniture. So, how to identify inferior furniture? Let's take a look.

Distinguishing material

Different furniture, the material is different. Some manufacturers have many traps of cutting corners and changing beams and columns in the furniture production process. You can open cabinet doors and drawer doors to smell them. If people feel pungent, dazzling and tearful reactions, it means that the formaldehyde content in the adhesive is too high and pollutes, which will endanger human health.

Resolving Substrate

Common base materials include plywood, block board, particle board, MDF, etc. A good base material should have a smooth appearance surface, no bubbling and delamination on the surface, uniform thickness of the board surface, no obvious warpage, no defects around the board edge, and low formaldehyde emission. Regular production enterprises will mark the factory name, factory address, product implementation standard number, product grade, formaldehyde emission grade and other marks on it, be sure to pay attention to the view.

Check the appearance

Check the appearance of furniture, mainly to see whether the surface paint film is smooth and bright, whether there are bubbles, wrinkles and other quality defects; Whether the color difference of the decorative panel is large, whether the pattern is consistent, whether there are corrosion points, dead joints, broken defects, etc.; It also depends on whether the edge sealing treatment is tight and straight, whether there is degumming, whether the surface is smooth and flat, and whether there is bump.

Check for cutting corners

The prices of different boards may vary a lot. For example, solid wood and mahogany furniture are much more expensive than board-type furniture. In order to obtain larger profits, some businesses cut corners in the processing of furniture, such as sticking a layer of solid wood skin or mahogany skin on the surface of furniture, while the basic material of furniture is still man-made boards, so consumers who do not know how to do it will be cheated.

Check hardware

Attention should be paid to whether the installation of furniture hardware accessories is complete, regular and reasonable. Some businesses replace cheap hardware and cut corners in furniture installation. For example, three screws should be installed, but only one screw should be installed. It won't take long for it to fall off. Also check whether the installation of accessories is reasonable, for example, check the door lock switch is not flexible, etc.
